William E Sippel/Hamilton Evening Optimist Club Scholarship

This need-based scholarship was created following the death of William E. Sippel in 1994 and provides a scholarship for a Hamilton High School student. Mr. Sippel, a retired accountant with General Electric, was active with the Optimist International Foundation and the Evening Optimist Club of Hamilton.

Impact

Since its establishment in 1996, the William E Sippel/Hamilton Evening Optimist Club Scholarship, in partnership with the Hamilton Community Foundation, has awarded more than $17,000 in scholarships to students pursuing higher education.
